As part of my R & R I was looking through my photos yesterday and this one jumped up at me. The bright light on the river as it flows by and the darkness up the pathway into the woods.

This is a place that has been a natural crossing on this river for a very long time. It is now mainly used by folks to access the river to put their canoes, kayaks and tubes in the water or pull them out depending on where they start their journey.

This image seems to be an allegory for our times in this moment.
