I recently completed Erik Larsons "Destiny of Unrest". A recounting of the buildup to the attack on Fort Sumter. It feels very similar right now.

The liars are many and most are irredeemable. It reminds me of the attitudes of the Confederacy.

We can only hope and work towards the turnout of those who really believe in the better ideals of the nation.

We can't lose this one. The Earth is depending on us.

I agree Bill. The CSA leaders wanted to preserve slavery at any cost...and they miscalculated their abilities and their "enemy" pretty badly...they just had to "not lose" and they could not pull that off....and to your point we MUST Win this one...there's no "not losing" there's no tie...This really is do or die.

My hope is that the observation helps us do the RIGHT things to get to the immediate goal. For 50 years a lot of what I've been doing as a "gun for hire" to industry, govt, politics...even entertainment is to help people get to the bottom line. Define it and help them sell their product on it's real merits...or train people to display it, sell it...do whatever they need to do...and I've done it across a wide variety of subjects...so here it it, in my morning "thought" pieces. I wake up with a word or a phrase in my head...and then just start writing...then finding the visual support.
