Wealth & Power capitulates

to the wrath of Trump

Anyone who reads my musings and reflections knows I’m no Trump fan. There’s nothing about him I admire. I’ve already voted and I’m so ready for this to be over. Watching this campaign process as a communications professional for 50 years and someone who has worked on campaigns is spinning my head around. The capitulation of Jeff Bezos to his fear of Trumps wrath says a lot about our possible future. The Washington Post was all set to endorse Harris for President….and Bezo’s as owner killed it out of fear of retaliation from Trump. If someone with that much wealth and power will take a knee…throw in the towel, stand down…because of his fear of a man running to be President that speaks volumes about where we are headed under Trump back in the White House. I’ve never heard of a non endorsement from a major paper out of fear. Ever before.

I want to send Jeff a really loud and clear message. You are a coward….and that’s what dictators thrive on. Now how can we send that message. A lot of folks have unsubscribed from the Washington Post. But if you really want him to get the message, stop using Amazon until after the election. If you work for them, call in sick a few days. Let the Trumpers who work there have to deal with the disruptions. My son drove for them for awhile. It doesn’t take much to gum up the works.

The people have always held the power. This is an easy way to flex and be heard.
