Yes Mike, what if Europeans - from the beginning - had decided they could learn from and exchange ideas with indigenous Americans. Perhaps we would have respected the Earth a little more and not defaced it quite so much.

What if we had embraced the idea that our natural resources belong to ALL of us including the animals? Shouldn't all water, petroleum - anything extracted from the Earth be held collectively for the benefit off all?

And maybe...what if we had embraced their spirituality and dumped the religions that have brought us endless conflict, suffering and horrific deaths?

Bill, every since I really began to learn the history of "The People"...and get to know their culture and spirituality better, I've wondered at what could have been...?? The land & water would certainly be in better shape. I went and documented some of their protests in DC when "Water is Life" was the chant. At an anti-fracking event Robert McCaslin was the one Indian in the group. He was incredible. He's in this video at 3:30 and at 8:50. Ray is also a real warrior and character.Ben Grumbles didn't know how to reply. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9avp3PR2nA&t=38s
