I was just talking with my wife about the judge and his upcoming sentencing....if the court gives Trump jail time....I guess it will be house arrest...what else would work ? This is surreal....we are in the Twilight Zone.

I've done video work in prisons and jails...Donald would last a few minutes without a protection detail. The most vocal response I ever got was in a women's prison. I never felt so "popular". He's REALLY enjoy the attention.
A lot of Club Feds are NICER than this SHOEBOX that I'm renting currently living in, almost worth computer crime or other white collar felonies. The one where my uncle was had a GOLF COURSE & very likely a tennis court. Donald doesn't believe in any kind of physical activity except golf.
If greater than half the populace think: ‘he’s my kind of guy’, then that says something. We’ve devolved into a self serving, me first society demanding ‘instant gratification’. No common cause, or sense, no sense of sacrifice for the greater good, just ‘what’s mine is mine, and what’s yours soon will be’ mentality. I know good, decent, honest, actually hard working and successful people who have been completely brainwashed into believing that ‘he’s their guy’. It’s seriously making me wonder about whether I just thought’ all those positive traits about them when all along they were just as self serving as ‘their guy’. And that’s a real shitty place to be. My adult daughter called me at 2Am in tears. That’s what life in our world is now. I reminded her of an age old philosophy: Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty, so never give up hope and stay focused. We can’t give up!
The 2 people in my life who I'm the most concerned for are my daughter and granddaughter who will have to live with the results of this longer than I. Unless the mid term backlash is so severe Donald really can't get much done. "Don't give up the ship". We've been in dark places before...Churchill said " When you're going through hell, keep going." That's probably my theme for tomorrow.

Hi Judith. It's totally your choice. I don't intend to stay as engaged following Trump and his exploits. It will make me crazy. But I do intend to find a positive way to use my interests and skill sets...and one of those ways is to create an annual event called "History and Art Matter". I have ideas for it and have talked with some folks who I'd like to see as a part of the core operation, at least for the rollout year. I will be talking about it here as things progress. My only observation to you for the future is that we've survived worse during the mid 1800's during the Civil War....and the best "light in the tunnel" quote I can offer this morning is from Churchill when he said "When you're going through hell...keep going".
