more Monumental Struggle news
We are one week into the launch of our Indiegogo awareness & fund raising campaign for our proposed documentary Monumental Struggle. I’ve done preliminary research on the Talbot Boys monument and short interviews with 11-12 people who were involved in the struggle over moving it or keeping it on the Courthouse lawn in Easton MD. We have edited a 3 minute 30 second pitch video that I believe reveals the tip of the spear of this project. My struggle right now is raise funds to make it possible to carry on. There’s a lot of good stuff bubbling around this project right now…but we need to prove grassroots support…and this is the way.

Thanks to Steve Wright for his substack donation. He’s the first person to offer me money for my writing. I need to figure out how to engage that part of the process.
It was good to see Steve and Jennie at the film festival Thursday night. They are musicians you will get to know here.
It was also good to be with my old friend and collaborator Rick Hemphill. We smoozed and networked…and may have tripped into something real good over wine & cheese.
I’ll elaborate on all of that later. This is a tease…you’ve seen it here first.
