A camera person's reflections
Madruguda
Madruguda is a Spanish word I learned last week in a conversation on Heather Cox Richardson’s Letters posting. It means that space between night & day, 1st light…which lingers for awhile as it transitions from deep black to white light.
It’s become the time when I try and spend time in our garden area, in a little ritual that has developed with hot tea in my moose cup as I speak with the Universe and honor the 4 directions. There’s usually gratitude and sometimes a prayer.
It’s been working for me. It gets the day started peacefully and with calm purpose.
Here’s the space.
